SBI Clerk 2022 Notification: State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for Clerk (Junior Associates – Customer Support & Sales) on 6th September 2022. According to the latest SBI Recruitment Notification 2022, SBI has invited the applicants to fill the form for 5008 Junior Associates Vacancies. The Online Application will start from 7th September 2022 and the last date to apply online is 27th September 2022. State Bank of India is a statutory organisation for financial services and a multinational public sector bank with its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The only Indian bank on the Fortune Global 500 list of the biggest companies in the world in 2020, SBI is the 43rd largest bank in the world. SBI Clerk Recruitment 2022: Important Dates
Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in State Bank of India. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular State/UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State/UT (mentioned in the under given vacancy table against each state/UT). The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online main examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be offered appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter State Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited.

SBI Clerk 2022 Eligibility Criteria
SBI Clerk 2022 Eligibility: SBI in its SBI Clerk 2022 Notification has released a detailed eligibility criteria for the candidates who are interested to apply for the given posts. The Detailed Eligibility Criteria is given below:
SBI Clerk 2022 Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 20 years old and no older than 28 years old to apply for the SBI examination, which means they must have been born between August 2, 1994, and August 1, 2002. (both days inclusive). In addition, the government’s guidelines allow applicants to be older if they fall into a particular category:

SBI Clerk 2022 Nationality
- Indian Citizenship
- A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan OR
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement OR
- A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India OR
- Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favor.
SBI Clerk 2022: Essential Academic Qualifications (As on 30.11.2022)
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government.
- Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30.11.2022.
- Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30.11.2022.
- Note:
- The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet/certificate or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.
- Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post. Such certificates should be dated on or before 30.11.2022.
Computer Literacy: Knowledge of computer operation is required for the SBI Clerk exam.
SBI Clerk 2022 Prelims Exam Pattern
The Question Paper for the SBI Clerk Prelims 2022 exam will consist of 100 questions of 1 mark each with a time duration of 60 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. There will be no sectional qualifying marks.

The Question Paper for the SBI Clerk Mains 2022 exam will consist of 190 questions carrying a total of 2022 marks. The time duration of the SBI Clerk Mains Exam would be 2 hours 40 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual.
